Fear of heart disease among children born with IVF is more: study







Artificial insemination is no less than a boon for a childless couple, but a study has revealed its harmful side. It states that children born with IVF technique are more prone to heart diseases than children born with normal pregnancies.

Reproductive experts say that powerful doses of medicines are given for IVF. The effect of these drugs in fetuses developing IVF treatment can lead to high blood pressure and hard and thick arteries. This can later lead to heart attack and trauma when they become adults. Apart from this, some such evidence has also been found that according to IVF technology, there is an increased risk of preterm birth and low weight of the fetus.

The results of this study are also important because premature or underweight newborns may have long-term health problems. These include a higher risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes. The results of the research will be discussed this week at the International Society for Milder Approaches to Assisted Reproduction (ISMAAR) London annual conference.

He said that these experts have a huge responsibility for the birth of healthy children. The subject of discussion among experts is now how far the reproductive problems of parents and their treatment are responsible for the health problems in the child. But the results of the study indicate that this should be attributed to the intense desire of women for their child.

Due to this, women intending to conceive are given high doses of follicle-promoting hormone (FSH) to increase the production of eggs in their ovaries. Previous studies have observed that sometimes poor quality eggs also develop, which at birth increases the risk of serious diseases in the future.
