ISRO said - Vikram Lander is unable to contact, constantly trying

ISRO has informed by tweeting that Vikram Lander has not been contacted yet. Chandrayaan 2's orbiter traced Vikram Lander but could not establish contact with him, although all efforts are being made to contact the lander. ISRO gave this information(IVF) on Tuesday morning at 10:20. This information came by ISRO when ANI was quoted on Monday as saying that ISRO chief K Sivan said that Vikram had made a "hard landing" and that the orbiter had succeeded in taking the thermal image of the lander. Earlier, an ISRO official had said that the lander is in the form of a single piece, not broken into pieces.

The officer had said, 'We are making every effort to establish contact with the lander. Here a team in ISRO's Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) is engaged in this work. Chandrayaan-2 consists of an orbiter, lander (Vikram) and rover (Pragyan). The mission period of the lander and rover is equal to one lunar day i.e. 14 days of the Earth.

ISRO Chairman K.K. Sivan said on Saturday that the Indian space agency would try for 14 days to contact the lander. He repeated this thing once after getting the picture of the lander on Sunday.
